Forget everything you know about vampires, gone are all the cheesy cliché’s and notions of “romanticism”. Ashes is a post-modern distillation of the vampire myth. The genre is reinvented when everything you know about the myth is questioned and reinterpreted. Vampirism is a disease; a virus that has been over glorified and taken out of context.
