Released from a thousand-year imprisonment, eighty-eight demons return to present-day Japan. A band of young warriors that has power over the elements takes up the fight against the evil creatures. However, conflict within the group of warriors splinters it into two opposing camps that rage war against each other. Amidst the carnage and battle, salvation for all rests in the Maiden of Water, who has power over the demons.
