The Lazarus Pits is published by Boneyard Press in 1993.
The title refers to a “specialty whorehouse” where the customers can exercise vices too extreme for any other such venue. The Pits were first seen in the summer of 1992’s Devil’s Bite, where serial killer Jonathan Gabriel took up residence as one of the staff.
He services the customers desiring pain, and works the camera while the staff shoot snuff films for Texas Oilmen. Gabriel has also taken a special interest in a woman he calls “the Schoolgirl,” whom he desires to make his own. It’s an obsession steeped in debauchery and death, leading all involved to their inevitable doom.
