Not so long from now, huge corporations would rise to control most of the world’s resources. These megacorporations would stop at nothing in their quest for profit, eventually fouling the Earth so badly that mankind had to seek out life on other planets in order to survive. Eventually the quest for new territories would wind up on Pluto, where explorers would unwittingly unleash a terrible force of darkness upon the universe. In the dark times that followed, mutants, demons, and immense beings known as Nepharites rose against mankind. Only after the greatest of struggles was this darkness defeated and mankind was once again left in peace.
