Tom Sullivan’s… " Books of the Dead: Devil Head" was published by Dead Dog Comics from 2005 - 2006. The story starts in Iraq in 1983 when Saddam Hussein was an ally of the U.S.. A remote dig at a castles ruins uncovers a hidden prehistoric tomb containing a bizarre book and a devastating infestation. A group of American archeologist uncovers one of the long lost books of the dead and unleashes an invasion of demonic souls possessing the bodies of men. These evil souls spread like a disease of infected cannibalistic killing machines. The military try to assist, only to be left in a pool of bloody limbs and organs. Will the madness be stopped before there are undead monstrous offspring?
