It is only natural for a child to seek tosurpass his or her parent, and that includes Randall Springfield.Unfortunately for Randall and his brothers, their mother is not soeager to let that happen… and vampires are anything but natural.
Wasting the Dawn tells the story of Randall Springfield, who was turnedcenturies ago by Lisel. Although Lisel herself was turned a millennium ago, she has no intentions to take “the final sleep” as expected, thus denying her children their right of maturity and forcing Randall totake matters into his own hands. Randall is joined by his familiar Rose and sets off to find brothers Knox and Swan to enlist their aid instanding up against Lisel and to ultimately destroy her.
Originally published as a series of zines distributed in San Diego coffee houses, Wasting the Dawn is the accumulation of over a decade’swork by author David Hurwitz. Artist Breed provides the stunning artwork that accompanies this fresh take on the vampire tale.
