Counterparts is a three-issue mini-series, written by Stefan Petrucha of X-Files fame.

Set in a warped future where everyone is addicted to Temporary Personality Grafts, Hieronymous Jones is uncurable. After being taken to a doctor, the treatments seem to have no effect on Jones so his wife takes a TPG, turning her into a heartless wench who leaves him. After she leaves, Jones “wakes up” and realizes that the treatments have caused his legs, torso, head, and arms to detach, each having have its own personality.
