Mister E was last seen as one of the four occult figures whose mission it was to show Timothy Hunter the aspects of magic in the Books of Magic mini-series.

When his turn came, Mistert E attempted to kill Timothy, mistakenly believing him to be a pawn of the devil.

Young Timothy eventually escaped Mister E, leaving E stranded at the end of time. Now, in this four-issue mini-series, E is left to find his way back in time.
