Written by Dave (Wordsmith) Darrigo and illustrated by Peter (Mike Danger) Grau. It's basically Saturday afternoon Creature Feature brought to comics.

Each issue features two stories, one is self-contained and deals with teens and fast cars often going against atomic mutations or aliens. The other story is a regular running serial about an outlaw funding the experiments of his mad scientist father. Atomic Overdrive is another book that has a definite feel that seems to draw you into another world.
