Bloodletting was published by FantaCo in 1995. Satori, Max and Cosette are three “eternally trapped at 20-something-year-old” vampires who roam 1990s California as part of its underground “Goth” movement. While each has their own specific reason for becoming vampires, Satori is the most perverse. She purposely became a vampire to exact revenge on the graduates of her high school—students whom she thinks are responsible for the murder of her best friend. Personal agendas aside, the trio lead a regular vampire life, on the run from a duo of hunters looking to bring them down.
