This comic book is a black-and-white adaptation of director Robert Wiene’s classic German horror film.

Murders coincide with the arrival of Dr. Caligari’s travelling sideshow, which features a frightening, sleepwalking prophet called Cesare, who appears to live in a magic cabinet.

The artist, Michael Hoffman, captures the look and the feel of the 1919 film masterpiece.
