Dracula: Lord of the Undead was published by Marvel Comics in 1998.
Dracula learns that his mansion in Transylvania had been ransacked, and his possessions stolen. Dracula recovered his items but his items were just bait for a trap. Dracula was infected with a virus, designed by Charles Seward, the great-grandson of his old enemy John Seward, who was under the control of Lilith. This virus made it impossible to consume human blood, but also turned out to be lethal and highly infectious to living people. Dracula ultimately cured himself by drinking Seward's blood, which had been used in developing the virus.
