Meet the Monarch of Dothenridge, the vampire Lord Maximus Ostem. From his childhood days in the slums of the Dothmoth, to his adventuring days with the White Lions. He tried his best to make life for himself and others better. Even when darkness took over his soul, he defied the ways of the vampire and let the light shine from his black eyes. He enjoys wielding the power to change peoples lives. He found that he could have that power in the government. So over the course of fifty years he worked his way up the ladder of power, till he reached the top. But that was not enough.

He wanted more for his country and his people, and he was ready to fight for it. So for the past three hundred years Dothenridge has fought, and won, until now. The Surinian States has fought back with all its might. Outnumbering the Dothenridge forces five to one, they have beaten the Dothenridge Army into the ground. Now Maximus has one last chance to turn the tides of battle. He now waits for word from his spy Homer Hightree who he hopes will gather the information he needs to achieve victory.
