Dr. Wirtham's Comix & Stories was published by Clifford Neal from 1980-1982.

The stories presented here seem specially designed for the most hardcore fans of the underground comix genre. A little bit of everything is covered in these special two-in-one editions: a little science-fiction, a few funny animal stories, a bit of horror and suspense, and a whole lot of sexual obsession. Surprisingly, a few of the stories have a serious tone, though most are simply funny, satirical, or just plain freaky. Nothing is sacred in Dr. Wirtham’s world, and everything is fair game. Shots are aimed at Mother Goose, Santa Claus, even the six-foot rabbit from the Jimmy Stewart movie, Harvey.
