The Forsaken interview with Bobby FosterThe Forsaken interview with Bobby Foster

Art Lives Forever is proud to unveil its debut issue of The Forsaken, which was created and illustrated by the new upcoming artist on the comic scene, Bobby Foster.

The first issue introduces and shows the transformation of the comic’s hero, the Wraith, whose sole mission is to defeat the dark armies of Lilith in order to stop them from bringing chaos to the world. The beginning battleground for this epic dark war has been moved from the time period best known as the plan of the ages and is set to take place in the New World town of the already dysfunctional city of Baltimore

We caught up with creator, Bobby Foster, to talk about The Forsaken.

Horror News Network: How did you come up with the concept for The Forsaken?

Bobby Foster: The story kinda evolved over the course of 20 years. From my days in high school, the story started out as a vigilante concept focused around one character. It was shelfed for a while because I didn't have the skillset to translate what I envisioned in my head to print. Over the course of years as my interests and knowledge base grew so did the story and it's cast of characters.

Horror News Network: Tell us more about the main character, The Wraith.

Bobby Foster: He's one of the lynch pins in the story. He's not the main character but he's a part of a group that must stop an evil entity from taking over the world as we know it. The Wraith is the ultimate hunter/assassin. If you're being tracked and hunted by him, it's a guarantee you won't be able to hide or survive the encounter.

Horror News Network: Can you give us a run down and description of the supporting cast?

Bobby Foster: It's an epic tale that spans centuaries of time. The cast is vast but the key players are going to be revealed in our 6 issue storyarc. In short, the good guys are in King Valoridrum's conclave. The bad guys are devout followers of Divinity.

Horror News Network: What can we expect from this book in terms of blood, guts and scares?

Bobby Foster: Blood will be shed. Scares, surprises, twists, and turns will be plentiful.

Horror News Network: Where can our readers find out more about The Forsaken?

Bobby Foster:
The main page: The Forsaken

The Dedicated Facebook Page: The Forsaken on Facebook

To purchase copies: The Comic

Horror News Network: In closing, what would you like to say about The Forsaken?

Bobby Foster:
It's a wild ride full of suspense and thrills that horror and action fans alike will enjoy. As a fan myself, I do this for the love, and respect of the genre. Pick up your copies of The Forsaken issues 1 and 2 on sale now at Art Lives Forever!

Horror News Network: Thank you for your time, Bobby. Best of luck with The Forsaken. Comment on this interview here.
