| Even the Dead need to make
a living. We spoke with writer, Ross Mihalko, about his new book, Dead Dick:
Zombie Detective. The
Big Bad Wolf: Can you give us a synopsis of Dead Dick: Zombie Detective?
Ross Mihalko: The
story is set in Chicago 1954. A private investigator is bitten by a zombie
on the job. He uses some ancient medicine to keep his brain alive. He
is still dead, he still has to eat human flesh, and he is still on the
case.
The Big Bad Wolf: Who are the main characters in the book?
Ross Mihalko:
Richard Graves is Dead Dick. He is a private investigator. He lost his
wife and children seven years before the book starts. He has been living
dead for a while.
Sunshine Moon is the overly optimistic psychic
secretary who runs the office for Dick.
Then there is Vincent Price, not the Vincent Price,
this one is Dick's brother-in-law who runs the local morgue.
The Big Bad Wolf: Who publishes this book?
Ross Mihalko:
Right now this is self published by Creative Giant
Comics. We have the promotional issue here at NY Comic Con. It has the
short story "Blood Money" in it. It also has the first issue
manuscript of the five issue mini. That should be out by the start of
the new year.
The Big Bad Wolf: Where can fans get more information
about Dead Dick?
