Issue 2 - The Halloween issue of COLD BLOODED CHILLERS, featuring 3 chilling tales and 36 pages from screenwriter/graphic novelist Robert M. Heske (Waiting, No Middle Ground, The Night Projectionist) and art from some of horror noir's top and emerging international talent (Monty Borror, Alain Norte, and Zeu). Cover art by Mark Chilcott. Stories include: DEAD DOG - A dead dog dumped in a man's driveway brings bad karma. MISNOMER - Trick or Treaters enter an alleged pedophile's abandoned home. HER FIRST DAY ALONE - A mother becomes traumatized when her baby enters day care.

Our thoughts: At first glance, a horror anthology that does not feature vampires, zombies or werewolves may not seem that interesting for horror enthusiasts. However, when you peek inside and see these twisted tales, and the horrors that man is capable of, all of that will change.

These tales take me back to the in dependant horror comics of the early 90's that featured interesting tales and up and coming artists. Sometimes the evil that man does is greater than any type of monster you can imagine.

Robert Heske has found his niche in this sub-genre of horror that is often forgotten.
