Elliot Flanders

One night Elliot and Lori Ann were on their way home after a dinner party when a vampire hunted by Blade jumped through their car window and clawed Elliot. When they reached hospital it was already too late for Elliot. He told Lori Ann that he loved her and died of an extremely lethal blood disease.

Elliot didn't turn into a real vampire, but became a rare case called a "Huskie" among vampire-hunters. Days after his funeral he awakened in his coffin, dug a way to the surface, hid during the day and hunted small animals at night. He remembered how to open the window to his son's room from the outside and visited him every night for two months, but Theodore always screamed which drove Elliot away before he could tell his son that he loved him.

Blade was hired by Lori Ann to find out why her son saw her husband every night. At night Blade dug up the empty coffin and then went back to the house with Lori Ann and Theodore. Elliot entered his son's room again, but Blade was there to catch Elliot and tie him to a chair. Blade sent Jimmy downstairs to call up Elliot's family and explained to them what he had become. Blade told Theodore to be brave and stand in front of his father and Elliot finally got the chance to tell his son that he loved him. After he was done Blade sent Elliot's family away and killed Elliot Flanders, who was awaiting his death.
