. Sybil Dvorak's mutant powers emerged in childhood. As she was raised by gypsies, she had many op- portunities to nurture and focus these abilities. In her late teens she met actor Jason Reed and became his mistress. Reed was unfaithful to her and kept her a virtual prisoner on his estate, so Dvorak dressed as the Gypsy Moth, and searched Hollywood social gatherings for her errant lover. When Reed died, she inherited his money and used it to to start a hedonistic cult that worshipped her. She has recently been recruited into Night Shift.
