While in Calcutta, Carl Hanson overheard a man talking about a photograph he had found of the Abominable Snowman, which was said to be cursed. Figuring that this would be a great source of money for the sensationalism, Hanson stole the photo from him, and set off for the Himalayas. However, no one there would help him, all pleading with him to lose the photo before the curse overcame him. Finally, he set off into the mountains to find the creature himself. And as he climbed through the snow, his hair grew longer and longer-- until he was the Abominable Snowman himself!

The Abominable Snowman is coated with thick fur, which protects it from the cold. It may also possess superhuman strength.
