Have you ever wondered what a Vignoctopussy looks like? Really? Well I
have and guess what, now I know. Thanks go to awesome brain to hand work
of Dan Dougherty we can now all prepare for what these horrible
creatures look like. So what else can you expect from this issue? Some
really great looking panel work, nice black and white pages and some ass
kicking action. I loved the full page spreads as they told my eyes a
fight was about to go down. Nothing deep in detail but it delivers what
is needed to make this one visually appealing.
Story: 4.0 out of 5
I will start with my one and only problem, if Bob is a plumber, why is
he killing rats? Alright, phew… that was rough to get out there, but now
we can move forward. This book is so much fun on the bun that you will
be begging for more when your done. Comprised of two short stories I
just fell in love with our mute protagonist. The stories packed enough
punch to leave me craving more. The dialogue is funny and the concept
works so well. I want more now!
Dying Breath: 4.0 out of 5
So here’s what I want to do. I want to go buy the largest pipe wrench I
can find, a pair of overalls and then shave the middle of my head,
because I want to be Bob Howard for Halloween. The artwork and story go
hand in hand on this one as humor and action collide. I am just going to
make it clear right now that I want a 150 page collection of shorts
centered around Bob. I have read this issue twice already and I don’t
see an end in sight. This is well worth the green as it emits an
odorless visual stimulant that your brain will fall in love with. MUST
BUY MORE BOB!!!!!
