“So disturbing, you don’t want to know”
Artwork: 4.0 out of 5
Have you ever wondered what would happen if your Cannible Corpse or Cattle Decapitation
cd cover had a comic book? Well this is it. The artwork is nothing shy
or GORE-geous from page to page. Bloody bits here, scary monsters there
it’s everything disturbing wrapped into a small little package for your
eye to devour, or crawl out of your head and leave because you tortured
them with these gruesome images. The art is not a let down.
Story: 2.0 out of 5
This is what stinks about this so-called gig, not being able to hype
something up. Talking with the talent on this one though, they knew that
they story was lacking so I don’t feel super bad. There really was not
full consistent story here. You might have a few panels that work
together, but other than that I was kinda let down. I was hoping for it
to be as reader appealing as it was visually appealing.
Dying Breath: 2.5 out of 5
So nice looking pages couldn’t save this one, so I think it’s safe to
say middle of the road is a good score. The fact that a cohesive story
was lacking really sucked, because I would have liked to see this
artwork come more to life with some good dialogue. However the artwork
is very strong and if I was looking for an artist for my death metal cd
cover, I know exactly who I would call.
