This is a very unique looking comic. Since it is being printed from web
comic form, the interiors are all horizontal instead of vertical. Which
is something you just don’t come across very often. The pages look
great, with this dark and gritty appearance that really lends itself to a
futuristic look. I would almost have to say I get a Mike Mignola vibe
looking at Querio’s work. The highlight of this issue to me was the all
out brawl that took place towards the end of the issue. It was nothing
short of GORE-geous!
Story: 4.0 out of 5
Like the artwork, the way the story is told is also has a very unique
feel to it. You have your main comic panels, but room is saved on the
left hand side of the pages to allow for this back story to take place.
It is almost as if you are treated to two stories at once. At the
beginning of the issue this works very well in explaining a back story
that compliments what is going on with the main storyline. The dialogue
is spot on and the idea is intriguing. There is a good universe taking
shape here.

Overall I enjoyed this issue. I can easily head on over to the website
and jump on where the comic book left off, but I want to wait. I liked
where the book left off so it leaves me wanting more for sure. Overall
you have some great art and a fun story that has me wondering what is
next!
