Artwork: 4.5 out of 5
Wow this is one great looking book. Did you see that cover, HOWLY WOLF!
Just the design and the colors alone make that one cover to be reckoned
with. The interiors don’t stray to far away from the cover either. This
book is just flat-out GORE-Geous. I think it’s the werewolf lover in me
that makes me say that, but the colors, shading and details on every
panel, I got a drool spot on page one for goodness sake! I’m just
flipping through my laminated copy and still mesmerized by how great
this book looks.
Story: 4.0 out of 5
This is where we get a little tricky in terms of whats going on here. I
was originally going to pass on this one because of the WOW title, but I
am glad I didn’t. I know nothing about the game other than the fact
that it is a game, so that can kinda throw some people off initially,
but stick it out and give it a try, because what was inside was a really
good story, that only at the end moved into a “history” lesson when it
comes to the WOW. Basically the story is there, it is meant for people
who might not know anything about the game and people who do know about
the game, get a back story on the cast.
Dying Breath: 4.5 out of 5
While the artwork is the overall winner here, I will come back to the
story no questions asked. While I was afraid of reading something that
might be beyond me in terms of it tying into the game, this book
welcomed me in, slashed at my face a little and left me satisfied. I
won’t be playing the game anytime soon, but I will be reading this mini
series because I am kind of excited to see where it is heading. I say
werewolf fans this is a must read, horror fans in general check it out.
