A
slower turn of pace in this issue leads to a bit more character
development. We dive more into what is going on now. More of a reading
mans issue if you will. Overall a nice way to move the story forward.
Artwork: 4 out of 5
I
don't know how, at this point, to judge the art team on Crossed. Great
art, same as always. Nice shading, coloring it all flows so nicely and
just works with the Avatar theme.
Story: 3.5 out of 5
Even
though it's not a high intensity issue like the past have been I felt
it had great character development. A nice pace to move the story
forward but nothing great. Overall it worked but I prefer something to
happen, even in the flashback scenes.
Dying Breath: 3.7 out of 5
The artwork is always solid. Ennis is a great writer. This issue just
lacked what I come to expect and love from Crossed. I did like the
progression and I know something is building so there are things to
look forward to in #6. Overall though it was an alright issue.
