Our Thoughts: Backup stories are always so fun, and it's great to see one get it's own featured series. Fans of television's backup stories like Supernatural's Ghost Facers and, more specifically, the X-Files' The Lone Gunmen are going to want to pick this up immediately.
Story: For anyone unfamiliar with the story, Hoax Hunters is about a team of people on an investigative television show. The team appears to be out to debunk the "hoaxes", but is secretly working to cover up the truth. This is a great premise for a series with absolutely endless possibilities. The story is well-written and is setting up for a really good mystery with some really great characters.
Art: The art is clear, colorful, and a great fit for the tale. Medellin does some wonderful work for the night scenes and has a lot of fun with the monsters.
Noteworthy: Great premise for a series and fun to read.
Not Worthy: If you didn't read the previous stories, you'll have to play "catch up" somewhat to follow along.
