Publisher: Dark Horse
Story and Art: JM Ringuet
Synopsis: In a world where Demon possessions are commonplace it's up to a crew of overworked blue-collar repo guys to repossess the victims with old grimoires and big guns. The Dee Agency is hired by a rich NYC banker to repossess his daughter Sarah who ran away to Vegas. But the job is tougher than they expected and Demons of all sorts start popping up on the trail.
Our Thoughts: Everyone remembers “The Exorcist,” right? Well in this comic Joe, Clay and Martha work for the Dee Agency and they exorcise demons with Holy artillery. People are getting possessed left and right and our heroes get paid to cleanse their soul. These aren’t imps or lesser demons they battle, but major generals in hells army. A mystery is a foot as to why that is.
Mr. Ringuet handles both the art and words for this comic and he does not disappoint. The interplay between the 3 main characters gives you a sense of history and familiarity. Hopeful in the coming issues this will be explored. The art is gritty yet clean in its design. A very good first issue that captured my interests.
