High Moon Volume 1 is set to be released by DC Comics on October 7th. The first winner of Zuda Comics’ monthly online competition finally comes to print format.
In High Moon, we follow the twists, turns and strange happenings on the American frontier. The main character(s) Macgregor, uncovers dark secrets, as he battles injustice in all forms.
The story is intriguing and exceptionally well written by David Gallaher. Just as you begin to think that you may know what is about to happen, Gallaher succeeds in throwing a curveball which only helps to pull the reader in more.
The art by Steve Ellis is top notch as well. The werewolves and monsters look mean as hell. Steve also captures the feel and lawlessness of the Old West.
I would hate to see this book be categorized into just a werewolf comic, (I LOVE werewolf comics) but this book is more than just that, it even has a Hellboy type feel to it.
A fun book for anyone, this TPB is a must have for any fan horror comic fan.
