Trick R Treat

Synopsis:"Written by Marc Andreyko; Art by Mike Huddleston, Grant Bond, Christopher Gugliotti and Fiona Staples; Cover by Breehn Burns.

The adaptation of the upcoming Halloween scarefest is here! Written by critically acclaimed scribe Marc Andreyko (MANHUNTER, Torso) and illustrated by a cavalcade of terrifying talents including Mike Huddleston (MAN-BAT, GEN 13), Grant Bond, Christopher Gugliotti (THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE) and Fiona Staples (NORTH 40), this graphic novel will keep you quivering with fear! Halloween has always been a night of tricks and treats, but this year, it's nothing but a cornucopia of tricks as werewolves, demons, killers and zombies celebrate the festival of Samhain!

Featuring a cover from the film's concept designer Breehn Burns and based on the Warner Bros. film from writer/director Michael Dougherty (X2, Superman Returns) starring Anna Paquin, Dylan Baker, and Brian Cox!"

Our thoughts: A horror fans favorite month has arrived! With October comes monsters and of course, Halloween.

Recently released from Dc/Wildstorm Comics is the adaption of the upcoming horror film, Trick 'R Treat.

Trick 'R Treat is an anthology that follows a group of people who cross paths Halloween night. Movie critics already are praising the film as a DVD that has to be in each horror fans home.

While I am not one to usually pick up movie adaptations, this comic delivers on all levels. The story fits well into the comic platform. Marc Andreyko does a fantastic job adapting the story to fit in this amount of pages. The story is complimented by a variety of different artistic styles.

This book is a must for the horror holiday season!
