Graphic Classics: Edgar Allen Poe is a must have for any Poe collectors. It features 12 stories that come to life thanks to amazing quality artwork. One of Po'e most famous work, The Raven, graces the cover of this collection.

The stories include: The Premature Burial, King Pest, The Imp of the Perverse, The Fall of the House of Usher, The Masque of Red Death, The Tell-Tale Heart, The Cask of Amontillado, Never Bet the Devil Your Head, Hop-Frog, Spirits of the Dead, Eldorado, and The Raven.

The art duty is handled by a handful of artists. Each artist has a unique style so each story has a different look and feel. This adds to the flavor of the book as you read through the 12 Poe stories.

Another fantastic book in this collection is, Graphic Classics: H.P. Lovecraft. This book features Cthulhu in all his greatness. Giorgio Comolo provides the cover art and which, in my opinion, happens to be one of the best Cthulhu interpretations ever.

The H.P. Lovecraft book includes the following stories: The Shadow Over Innsmouth, Dreams in the Witch-House, Sweet Ermengarde, Herbert West:Reanimator, The Cats of Ulthar, The Terrible Old Man, and The Shadow Out of Time. Again, a variety of talented artists contribute to this edition, including Richard Corben.

Another big reason why I like these books is because you can tell the quality that goes into making each volume. The horror filled atmosphere is definitely captured in these editions. From the front cover to the back, Graphic Classics is a solid read. I would highly recommend these books to any horror fan out there.
